Sustainability
Sustainability at Belle Design
At Belle Design, sustainability is very important — it’s a commitment woven into every decision we make.
Thoughtful Packaging
We use paper packaging and compostable cello's for all our orders.
Small-Batch Production
We believe in quality over quantity. That’s why we order in small stock amounts to reduce dead stock, helping us reduce waste, avoid overproduction, and keep our collections exclusive and special. We use up all left over material and minimise waste.
Local & Ethical Sourcing
Belle Design proudly supports British manufacturing, working with English and local producers, the fabric printers are in the heart of the English textile Industry in Lancashire. The coasters and placemats are manufactured by an UK Family run business, the cushion inners are made in the heart of my home town and the printed artwork in the same building as my studio. Everyone I work with is carefully chosen and the relationships built to last. We also carefully choose to collaborate with ethical businesses that treat their workers fairly — whether they are family-run workshops or companies with strong values and transparent practices.
Fabrics That Feel Good — and Do Good
We only use exceptional, long-lasting fabrics, with a strong focus on natural materials. The only exception is our velvet, which, while not natural, is chosen for its luxurious feel and high quality — and we ensure it’s responsibly sourced too.
Why It Matters
We care deeply about how our products are made — and who makes them. Our sustainability practices are not just about materials, but about supporting people, planet, and purposeful products that last.

The Hands Behind Belle Design
I’m Belle, the creative force behind Belle Design—a brand where hand-drawn artistry meets timeless design and British craftsmanship.
With roots in graphic design and illustration, I’ve spent years honing both the creative and technical sides of visual storytelling. What began as ink on paper has evolved into something tactile and enduring—homewares, accessories and gifts that don’t just look good, but feel good, and last.

Today, I’m a surface pattern designer and artist, transforming sketches and original artwork at My studio in a converted old Silk Mill into bold, original pieces designed to bring joy, colour, and a sense of individuality into your home. Every design starts in my sketchbook, is lovingly digitised, and printed to the highest standard—right here in England.
Brand Values & Mission
What drives every design and product at Belle Design

“Transforming hand‑drawn art into original, tactile, UK‑made fabrics, homewares, accessories and gifts—timeless in design, vibrant in colour, crafted to touch, built to inspire and delight for years to come.”

Value 1:
Authentic Artistry
Every design begins by hand.
Original sketches or photographs are the soul of my work—expressive, intuitive full of personality and unmistakably original.

Value 2:
Quality That Feels Good
Made to feel as good as they look.
Beautifully printed, carefully finished, and designed to be used and loved for years to come. Retaining the character of the original artwork and colour, with clarity that shines in print and high quality tactile finishes that feel just as beautiful as they look.

Value 3:
Confident Bold Colour
Joyful colour. Boldly Inspired
I use colour to create feeling—whether that’s calm, energy, warmth or contrast. Every palette is carefully chosen to bring depth, clarity, and emotion to a design. These are pieces that lift a space or look, inspire creativity, and confidently stand apart. I believe in the power of colour to spark Delight.

Value 4:
Timeless
Rooted in tradition, reimagined for now.
I create patterns that last—pieces that evolve with your home, not follow the latest trends. Rooted in tradition, but made for modern busy life. My work isn’t about following trends but being inspired by stories and nature—it’s about creating pieces that feel fresh year after year and stand the test of time to be passed on.

Value 5:
Made in England
Crafted with care, close to home.
From print to production, everything is made locally in small batches or companies I trust who produce the best quality, with ethical and sustainable practices at the core. From printing to production, every piece is created in collaboration or by me. It's a more sustainable way of working—supporting British craftsmanship, reducing waste, and keeping quality at the heart of it all.
